Freel with an infield hit. 1st and 3rd.
Freel with an infield hit. 1st and 3rd.
I think when you are going to bunt, let one pitch go by just to help with the pitch count. Wait for a 1 strike count before you bunt...especially if a pitcher is showing signs of control issues... Just MHO
Arroyo gets his job done. Up to Freel
If that's indicative of the SS Hu can become in time, the Dodgers have a good one. Very nice play that he made look ridiculously easy.
Hu saves a run, but Freel with an infield hit.
1st and 3rd for CPatt.
Freel with the inf single. C'mon Corey.
Patterson singles to right. 2-0 Reds. 1st and 2nd.
Corey shuts me up with a sharp single. Fear the brow.
Nickle and diming Penny to death. Junior could really make this one fun with #598 here.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
And Patterson gets an RBI single.
When it's going well...
Back to back two out hits net Corey with an RBI.
2-0
Loney makes a diving stop and throws out Junior. 2-0 Reds mid 2nd.
The guys who suck.....coming through...making it less likely they will play less or be replaced fast enough.
That was a good play by Loney. Reds just need to stay patient against Penny.
