He'll likely get it unless Jr gets hurt or traded.

That's because baseballs hit by Jay Bruce create wormholes in the space-time continuum. No shift can defend a wormhole.

BTW, Doug...your post count is almost to 10,000. Let's not waste it on anything trivial, like a Jay Bruce triple or double.

If they bring him up to play CF with a struggling Jr in RF they set up the potential for a major problem.

Just another day at the office for Jay Bruce it seems...if he'd throw some walks in there, he may get a promotion

He's going to end up back in Cincinnati at some point this year, I just know it. And unless he's doing something completely different than he's done every other time in a Reds uniform, I'm not interested in seeing that happen.

Herrera pitched a scoreless 8th with 2 K's. Adkins pitched the 9th and got the save.

Slap hitter Jay Bruce went 2-4 with a pair of singles and 2 K's.

he's the same guy he has always been, too few Ks and too many BBs. Putting a GB pitcher in front of the Reds infield defense, where everyone save Votto has a Rate well under 100, is a recipe for disaster.

Any reliever that doesn't miss bats is always skating the razors edge, Majewski may come up and be mildly effective but he is the definition of replacement level.
