This was the infamous "Ray King" game. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Austin Kearns was out while trying to score on a wild pitch. Braves catcher Javy Lopez threw to pitcher Ray King covering the plate, and in the process of applying the tag, the portly King "sat" (for lack of a better term) on Kearns' shoulder. In the eyes of many, Austin Kearns has never been quite right since.

Adam Dunn hit a pinch-hit three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning off Jung Bong.
