It's no wonder they only scored one run with that bottom of the order. That really reeks.Seaver must have just rolled his eyes when he saw that lineup posted by Sparky.

Seaver slumped a little with the bat in 1978. But if he had swung the bat in '78 like he did in 1977, there would have been a legitimate argument for him to have batted seventh in that game!

Five years ago (2003), a 9-3 win at Great American Ball Park vs. the Braves.

    Rafael Furcal ss
    Mark DeRosa 2b
    Gary Sheffield rf

    Juan Castro 2b
    John Riedling p

    WP: Chris Reitsma (3-1)
    LP: Mike Hampton (2-2)
HR: CIN - Adam Dunn (17).

This was the infamous "Ray King" game. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Austin Kearns was out while trying to score on a wild pitch. Braves catcher Javy Lopez threw to pitcher Ray King covering the plate, and in the process of applying the tag, the portly King "sat" (for lack of a better term) on Kearns' shoulder. In the eyes of many, Austin Kearns has never been quite right since.

Adam Dunn hit a pinch-hit three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning off Jung Bong.
