I don't think another race needs to be added to the current schedule, but it would be nice to see a race moved from another track that has more than one date already. That track is so out in the middle of nowhere though...not the most convenient of places to visit from a fan perspective.
What's likely to happen (at least early indications) is one of the New Hampshire races would be moved to Kentucky.....
There's a press conference at 3 that may have more answers

I've been to Kentucky Speedway, and it's a very nice place. I don't know if it deserves a Sprint cup race, but it looks like they will get one none the less.
I'm not a big NASCAR guy, but when they get their race, I'd be interested in checking it out. I have several friends into the sport, so I'd definitely want to go with them.....and drink a lot.
I saw an Arca race there a few years back....and drank a lot.
Agreed.
http://www.kentuckyspeedway.com/trac...t/engineer.aspThis site in Gallatin County fit the geographic requirements, being close enough to the interstate to handle the traffic. Work began. Builders reshaped land into a bowl. Little by little, a track appeared there. Moss says that he was able to design for expansion, ultimately to accommodate 200,000 people. His approach, he says, has saved millions of dollars.
When all is said and done more is said than done.
By comparison, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which has the seating capacity of any sporting venue in the world, seats around 250,000.
200,000 is darn impressive.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.
Someone tell Jeff Burton that the Cincinnati area is not in the "Southeast"
Go Gators!
