Who has the best curveball in the game?

I'm writing a paper for my physics class at school about the history and physics of a curveball and I need some input from you about who in the majors currently has the best curveball. At the moment, the only two pitchers that I've come up with are Barry Zito and Josh Beckett Input would be great! Thanks!

Off the top of my head I'm gonna say Ben Sheets.

Adam Wainwright on the Cardinals has a pretty disgusting curveball.

Beckett has the best Curve in the game today. Felix Hernandez also has a filthy Curveball that he throws at around 88-90 MPH. I hope you mentioned Sandy Koufax in the paper. Nobody had a better yacker than Koufax.

Dont get to see the AL guys as much to really judge them.
What was Carlton's bread & buttter , curve or slider? Whatever it was, it was the a dandy during that time span as far as lefties.

I think Bert Blyleven was known for his 'Uncle Charlie'.

The best I've ever seen are Bert Blyleven, Dwight Gooden, Bob Knepper and Ken Holtzman. Kerry Wood as a rookie had a comparible one as well.

Best Reds curveball I have seen - Charlie Leibrandt.

Zito's breaks the most. Beckett's is probably the hardest.

Affeldt's looks pretty damn good. Best in the game? No. Closer than we think? Yes.

Zito in his prime had a really nasty one... but Beckett wins, it falls off the table in a hurry.

Todd Jones used to have a pretty good one too.

I'm a sucker for those big sweeping curveballs. Affeldt's is really really good. And what about Arroyo? He has a nasty side to side like curve.

    1. Beckett - best late break and most consistent pitch
    2. Lincecum - his fundy windup helps his deception
    3. Zito - might be #1 when he's throwing well, which he hasn't been doing this year

I remember the nasty backdoor curveball he threw to clinch the NLCS a couple years ago. When I saw this question that was the first name that came to my mind but I haven't seen the Cardinals I'm not ssurre if it's as nasty now that he's in the rotation.
