hatteburg pops out on a weak swing. he isn't adjusting to the PH duty. out machine up next.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

Patterson K's. Honestly I would rather have Juan Castro's bat over Patterson.

Patterson fouls off the first pitch, swings and misses at the second pitch, takes the 3rd pitch way outside, and then Ks swinging at a fastball at the numbers.

    Pure suckitude.

The Corey Patterson experiment can't end too soon.

Why would this one mean the end when the other 15 or 20 'oh fers' haven't?

Every year we have the "release him now" or "can't release him fast enough" watch.

Ricky Stone......Rick White...Ben Weber.....problem is that they have to suck so bad and ruin many a games in order for this to happen.

Dusty simply ignores the o-fers. After 20 of them Corey has a good game and Dusty always points it out and talks it up. He'll ignore the 0 for 37 streak and laud his monthly two hit game. Never seen anything like it for a player with such a horrid track record.

Jared Burton in to pitch the 6th.

    Barrett grounds out to first.
    McAnulty flies to center.
Pinch hitter Gerut grounds a single in the hole between 1st and 2nd.
    Scott Hairston Ks.

Burton throwing 92-94 on his fastball. Looked pretty good.

    Nice inning by Burton.

    5-4 Padres after 6.
