It seems like every time EdE is struggling he comes up in a big situation. He killed them in the Pittsburgh series when he was struggling mightily.

Belisle groundout as the Reds strand three more. Gotta love the Reds offense.

IMO Belisile could be good out of the pen but there is no evidence to point to that suggests he is a major league starter.

    After 4, Reds trail 4-1.

Belisle at 79 pitches, and has given up 6 hits and 4 earned runs thru 4 innings. His ERA is up to 7.06.

I don't even know about that. Mat throws his stuff right down the pipe way too often. I was a defender because I thought he was ready to turn a corner but it's obvious he's making no progress at all and he's no longer a young kid with a long leash. Some guys, like Harang, reach a point where it all clicks, other guys, like Belisle, never get past a certain point.

Belisle is too easy to hit. He doesn't deceive the hitters. That is not a good trait for a reliever or a starter.

So this guy maddux is pretty good according to Grande. I would have never guessed it.

I read where the Up With People organization turned George down beacuse he was too positive and happy for them.

Corey Patterson is 0 for 3 today, dropping his average to .209. His OBP has now dropped below.250.

This guy is an out magnet. We need to trade him to a Korean team for a box of bats....

we may have to pay for the box though. lets take up a collection on redszone to get the job done.
