I realize this is subjective as to who I think the heroes were in each win. But here is my count. Each player gets a point for being mentioned as a major contributor to the win.

Phillips has not been that good this year. Actually I think that Dunn, Griffey, EE and Phillips have hit at least a little worse than most expected. We are at least a .500 team with our hitting from previous years. Our pitching is suddenly around average and not terrible and our hitting has gone from above average to below average.

Volquez and Keppinger.

When Keppinger left and his .450 BA with RISP left with him he was leading the team in RBI's despite not hitting from one of the true RBI spots (3, 4, or 5).

If Volquez doesn't pitch the way he does and instead turns in a typical REDS line 4.50 to 5.00 ERA, Volquez doesn't win 3 games, and the team goes into the biggest funk in the Majors, never ending losing streaks, and being lost for the season. But Patterson would still lead off.

Dunn, Volquez, and Cordero right now. By the end of the season, Dunn will have had his best season yet. He has an excellent OPS and his peripheral numbers are even better. His BB/AB and BB/SO ratios are just great this season.

This is kind of a difficult question, because you have to take into account that Phillips gold glove caliber defense at a premium position makes him more valuable than his offensive numbers (which are pretty good) indicate.

I just don't care about numbers with RISP or late and close. I agree with you. EE is just going to be a so so, a lil bit better Willie Greene...

Adam Dunn is resposible for 1/3 the wins, Edinson Volquez the other 1/3, and a few other players contributed to the rest of the wins including EE and Janish...

But the 2 most responsible are AD and EV...
