    Dayton is off and the other three teams play at 7:00. Homer Bailey is starting for Louisville.

    Bailey K's the leadoff batter on three pitches.
    2nd batter grounds out.
    Oops. Homer walks the next batter.
    Another ground ball gets the third out. 14 pitches, 10 strikes.

    If Homer had his old mid-90's velocity tonight, he would be dominating these scrubs.

    Hopefully when the weather warms up, he decides to turn it up a notch. The 91-92mph stuff isn't fun to listen to or watch nor is the nibbling that comes from it.

    Bats game is tied 1-1. Herrera pitched a scoreless 7th. Mercker now pitching in the 8th.

    Lookouts losing 3-1 after 7.

    Carlos Fisher; 1 IP, 3 hits, 2 runs, both earned

    Columbus went ahead in the 8th 2-1

    Mercker gave up 2 hits and a walk to score the run.

    Coffey pitched a scoreless 1/3 IP

    Bats lose the game 2-1

    Sarasota lost 5-0

    Carroll: 5 2/3 IP, 8 hits, 5 runs, 5 er, 2 bb, 4 K
    Medina : 1 1/3 IP, 1 hit
    Francisco: 2 for 4, 2 singles

    Chattanooga lost 3-1

    Viola: 1 scoreless inning
    Lutz: 2/3 scoreless innings

    Not much offense on the night for any of the 3 teams.
