Figured I would ask in here, instead of starting a thread, but what happened to Marcus McBeth hasn't thrown since the 18th of April...

Re: Thursday May 29th minor league updates

Adam Rosales is 0-for-2 today as his disastrous start continues. What a shame. After hitting .286/.385/.519 with 70 XBH between Sarasota and Chattanooga last year, I really thought he had a chance to help the Reds sometime this year as a utility guy who can play 3B, SS, 2B, or 1B. He even hit well in spring training and impressed Dusty Baker but he's really struggling in AAA with a .562 OPS. There's still plenty of time for him to turn it around but what a disappointing start he's off to.

Maloney begins the 3rd inning with a strikeout, his first of the game. He then walks a batter and allows a single. First and second with one out. He then gets a three pitch strikeout on a pitch in the dirt. Two outs. He falls behind 3-1 on Diaz. Two run double. Another K on three pitches as he K's the side.

    Maloney: 3 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 3 K

Maloney is having a decently good start today through 5. Seems his luck has been normalizing itself all May long. Very good to see.
