I love back-to-back HRs for the REDS. Not as much as back-to-back-to-back HRs, but I love it.

I think I read a scouting report that said your best chance of getting to Jurrjens is to get to him early because it takes him an inning usually to get settled.

Or he's young and having his ups and downs like all young pitchers.

    Dunn walks on four pitches.

You gotta believe he'll walk the pitcher next inning with two outs, opening the floodgates.

EE better hop on this train fast or he may be asked to derail.

I don't question Dusty as many as others, but I don't understand him batting EdE ahead of Votto, at least for right now.

I think the reasoning is the lefty-righty thing. Not saying I agree, but I think that's the thought process.

Personally, I'm ready to hand 3B over to Freel at least 4 games a week.

Sounds like McDowell got his message through--pound inside. Throw strikes, they'll get themselves out.

Great atbat by Joey Votto. He fell behind 0-2 and then fouled some pitches off before working a walk. 1st and 2nd for Ross.

I don't care if Ruth and Gehrig did bat back to back, ya gotta split those leftys in the batting order up.

Yeah, I understand, but the thing is that Votto can hit lefties. That's why I doesn't make much sense to me.

Nice AB by Votto. That was great to get a walk out of that.

Very nice AB by Votto against a very tough young pitcher.

Man, I'm really liking Leo Mazzone's commentary. He reminds me a lot of our old basketball coach here in Cambridge.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

2-0 on Ross. Foul on a pitch up. 2-1. Strike two called. 2-2. Ball just in. 3-2. Ball 4 again just outside. Bases loaded for Fogg. 37 pitches already.

I thought ball 3 was strike 3 to Ross.
