Call me stupid, but I have no problem with small ball (when it works)

Just a brilliant squeeze bunt by Hairston. Ball was way out of the zone on suicide squeeze play and he made the bunt.

    Dusty ball.

Holy crap. That might be the best bunt I've ever seen. Hairston gets down a bunt on a curveball thrown high and tight to get the run home on a squeeze play.

Dusty really reveling in the small ball today.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Reds are like 1 for 8 on squeezes this year now.

    Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    BRUCE! RBI Double!!

After a little scuffle, who is expecting a squeeze? Good call by Dusty.
