EdE with a good AB. Votto can run a bit; I won't harp on the caught stealing until it becomes a Freel-like epidemic.

    Love seeing this list too.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

What was Votto doing? particularly with Hudson struggling and 3-1 on EE?

    Who cares?

It's a good idea to run on McCann. Votto's not terribly fast, but with a decent jump he should have made it.

Cowboy giving some good analysis on TV about Votto using the wrong type of slide for stealing a base. He went in with a "pop-up" slide that slowed him down a bit instead of sliding through the bag.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

That stolen base attempt was a very bad idea.

Bako grounds out to Hudson. Edwin goes to 2nd. 2 outs.

    Re: Reds vs Braves 6/1/08

I don't have much of a problem with stealing bases towards the bottom of the lineup. Advancing the bases as a runner is more difficult with poor hitters up, which makes the extra bag more valuable and the lessens the cost of making an out.

A hook slide from Votto and he may have been in there.
