Bo diddley bought his babe a diamond ring,
If that diamond ring dont shine,
He gonna take it to a private eye,
If that private eye cant see
Hed better not take the ring from me.

Bo diddley caught a nanny goat,
To make his pretty baby a sunday coat,
Bo diddley caught a bear cat,
To make his pretty baby a sunday hat.

Mojo come to my house, ya black cat bone,
Take my baby away from home,
Ugly ole mojo, where ya bin,
Up your house, and gone again.

Bo diddley, bo diddley have you heard?
My pretty baby said she wasnt for it.

I walked 47 miles of barbed wire,
Used a cobra snake for a neck tie.
Got a brand new house on the roadside,
    Made out of rattlesnake hide.
I got a brand new chimney made on top,
    Made out of human skulls.
Now come on darling let's take a little walk, tell me,
    Who do you love,
Who do you love, Who do you love, Who do you love.
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning

For folks who aren't familiar with Bo Diddley, take a look at some of the clips on Youtube. The raw energy he played with was unbelievable, inspired quite a lot of rock guitarists.

I've always been somewhat interested in the way music has changed over the years. You see quite a few videos from that era with the musicians dressed like that. Fast forward a few years...rock sure changed in that regard.

I doubt there was a serious classic rock guitarist who did not list him as an inspiration - and few quality guitarists all time, as well. He could make those strings sing.

    Great clip.
Not to go off topic, but I find the young lady playing the guitar quite intriguing - wasn't it almost unheard of for a female to handle a guitar during that period?
