    vs. Phillies tonight.....

Well, I guess I was hoping for some 9th inning heroics with Dunn, EE, and Votto up..........the first two whiffed. Since when did Brad Lidge become lights out? Unreal.
    Who's on first?

Reading the game thread you'd think EE and Dunn were swinging out of their shoes at high fastballs, but Lidge was downright dirty tonight with his pitches. Too many times do fans forget that players aren't robots or machines and that a pitcher can outwit a hitter(s) with deception and such breaking action. Lidge was perfect, but the Reds came up short, though they didn't play all too badly.

Nice job by Majewski to get out of the 5th with that DP.

    Let's get 'em tomorrow...

Bullpen has pitched very well as of late. Lidge has found his old self and was absolutely filthy tonite as stated before. Votto got robbed twice by Utley. That's just baseball for you sometimes you can hit balls right on the screws but there right at people. Gotta get a win tommorrow nite though.
