Sorry, just a tough road series against a very good team.
I agree. It get way too easy to question everything. While it's easy to point out poor decisions, keep in mind that if any of us were the manager, we'd have 150 people questioning our decisions!

Just disagree there. He wanted Patterson's defense.

    Well, Dusty lost another one.....

Oh wait. We won. Shut out the NL's best offense.

In hindsight, it would have been very beneficial to have used Burton in that situation. Then they could have PH for him with the bases juiced.

    But hindsight is 20/20.

Jeez, I'd hate to read this thread if the Reds lost.

Volquez is bordering on the ridiculous.

Volquez is now 8-2 and Cordero gets his 12th save.

Great win, despite some bad managerial decisions. Volquez, Votto, Phillips, Bray, and Cordero came up huge for a collective effort.
    Edinson Volquez is amazing.

He went out and stood toe-to-toe with a guy tossing a no hitter and got the win for his troubles.

    He's a warrior.

If Griffey stay out longer, I think Votto should hit second. Votto hits lower in order because he is young and Baker doesn't want to put too much pressure on him. But it's time for Votto to move up, he's a terrific hitter.

Then why does Bruce bat 2nd and 3rd?

Bruce is younger than Votto and he was batting second until recently and doing quite well.
