Volquez should have about 10 wins right now the way he's pitched. Hopefully he can hold Philly to two or three runs in 6+ and the offense can get him some run support.

It really is. I have to say that the only way hitters can have any measure of success against 2008 Volquez, is if they are 100% guessing on what pitch he's throwing, and where he's throwing it.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

When are they going to change the "Step Up to the Mic" commercial?

    Edwin Encarnacion isn't #12 anymore.

Volquez is just plain sick. I feel like I'm starting to take his performances for granted, because everytime he's out there he's shutting down the opposing lineup. What's amazing is he still has room to sharpen his command; just think how dominant he'll be once he does that?!

If I had a dollar for every time Phillips popped out on 2-0...

Josh Hamilton is on pace to start for the AL in the All Star game.

Wouldn't it be unreal if Hamilton faced Volquez in the 1st inning of the Midseason Classic?

The Phillies have killed Dunn this series with the slider down and in.

Votto flies out to center. Myers has been horrible most of this year and the Reds are making him look like an all star. 0-0 mid 2nd.

The same could be said for Kyle Kendrick and Adam Eaton and look what they did.

Myers has actually made himself look like an all star today.

He historically a pretty good pitcher, who's pitched very well lately, and looking like he has real good stuff tonight.

Don't let his poor start this year fool you. He's no slug.
