Re: Thursday June 5th minor league updates

Lookouts had the bases loaded with 1 out in the top of the 2nd but failed to score after P Jordan Smith struck out and Cody Strait flied out. Some notables...

Gutierrez 0-0 BB (all he does is get on base)
    Valaika 0-1
    Tatum 1-1 2B (11), RBI
    Dorn 0-0 BB
    Drew Anderson 0-0 BB

    Lookouts tied 1-1 after 2.

Re: Thursday June 5th minor league updates

Eric Eymann had a leadoff double for Chattanooga in the 3rd, but was stranded on 3rd after a Sean Henry ground out, a Tonys Gutierrez backwards K, and a Chris Valaika flyout to center. Updated notables...

    Eymann 1-2 2B (17)
    Gutierrez 0-1, BB
    Valaika 0-2

Lookouts still tied 1-1 with the Tennessee Smokies in the middle of 3. BTW, Tennessee's official mascots are these guys...

    Chattanooga:
Top of the 7th, Drew M. Anderson triples to right with 1 out and, of course, is stranded there after DeJesus and Strait both strike out swinging. Tenn tacks on another in their half.

    8-2 Smokies after 7.
