Travis Wood starts off the game with a cheap single that apparently should have been caught in the CF sleep. He then walked the next batter. Lets see him turn this inning around.

Travis Wood walked another guy. He is struggling with the command tonight. Infield fly rule called. One out even though the fielder dropped it.

I know see why Mez is having such a hard time throwing guys out.

    Its the pitchers
His throw was strong and accurate and if the pitcher would have had a short stride the runner would have been nailed

    Daryl Thompson 4th inning.

    1. Fastball taken for strike 1. Grounder up the middle for a single.

    2. Another HR. They are killing his fastball tonight.

    3. Foul ball back. Offspeed swinging strike. High and inside on the fastball. Offspeed high and outside. Offspeed fouled off. Pop up to CF.

    4. Offspeed inside. Grounder to SS.

    5. Fastball misses the outside corner. Breaking ball for a called strike. Low for ball 2. Fastball hit to CF for the third out.

His footwork looked better on that throw than he did 2 weeks ago. Throw wasn't as good as I have seen from him though.

yeah a little to the left of the bag, but with a better stride from the pitcher he would have gotten the guy

Time for a promotion once he gets the OPS back over .800

and I got a feeling he is going to make us forget about Gordon Beckham
