Hmmm...AA callup Ryan Tucker will start tomorrow....

MLB debut against Aaron Harang. Seeing an MLB debut isn't that rare, but a AA callup starting pitcher? Anybody know anything about this kid?

His stats in AA are solid...but it's AA for christ-sake.

    Right hander. 4-2 / 12 games / 70 ip / 49 hits / 27 bb / 62 k's / 1.41 era / 1.09 whip

That's all I got...anybody else with some useful info?
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Historically, these new pitchers swamp us. I'm not looking forward to his newness being exposed to the Reds.

Wow! Great stats. Only 49 hits in 70 innings. He must have good stuff.

It was at a Denny's in April 2005 when Volquez and his agents went out to eat with a high school pitcher named Ryan Tucker. Sitting in the booth, Volquez demonstrated to Tucker how he grips his changeup. Tucker, who two months later was picked 35th overall in the draft by the Marlins, started using the same grip and is now among the Double-A Southern League leaders with a 0.97 ERA.

He throws in the 94-96 range and also throws a slider and the aforementioned change up he learned from Volquez. Hopefully it isn't as nasty as Volquez's atleast not tomorrow...

Heck it doesn't have to be a Dontrelle Willis. It can even be a Tommy Phelps.

Bruce: Hey guys... I've gone against this guy a few times and I have a few pointers for you.

Griffey: (snickers) Listen to the new guy...trying to give someone "advice."

Dunn: I'll be on the couch.

Griffey: I'll still be batting 3rd.
