I'll take 6 on like 80 pitches and he leaves with a 10-0 lead.

They announced in the ballpark that Dusty is sending Hairston along with the Griffey home run ball to be put on display in the HOF.

    Um, yay!?!?

Bruce broke on first movement, and was seemingly picked off... but Ramirez lost the ball on the tag at second. Bruce advances to third because no one was there.

Nothing like 2, 2 base errors in the same inning.

    That's impressive.

Any word on why Hairston was pulled yet?
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

Volquez perfect thru 2 innings at only 22 pitches, with 3Ks, 0 BBs. WHIP=0.

    Better than yesterday.

    A 3-5 roadtrip....could be worse.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

That game Saturday was a killer. Could have easily been 4-4.

If someone has Marty's call of Junior's 600th that they could post I would be much obliged. And by the way, if Dunn's homer against the Indians a few weeks back could be dredged up I'd appreciate that as well. Never did get to hear it.

And a jammed left thumb for Hairston per Mr. Grande.
