    International Players (Inoa)

I would really like the Reds to be activley in the bidding for this guy Inoa, he is 6'7" and already throws 93 MPH with 2 other plus pitches... Change & Curve...

    Re: International Players (Inoa)

We already invested $2M into Duran, who's of the same class. To put it nicely, Inoa is pretty much out of reach from the Reds perspective.

However, regarding Inoa, I loved this part the best:
According to data obtained by ESPNdeportes.com, at least seven teams are ready to offer Inoa a $3 million signing bonus. Oakland, however, has the upper hand; the A's are ready to pay up to $4 million for Inoa.
When I think of top foreign prospects, I think of the Yanks and Red Sox as to being the only true competitors. However, look at Billy Beane and the budget oriented A's going hard to land this guy. And, not to mention, if Billy Beane is eager to invest $4M ifrom the A's into this kid, my bet is, he's going to be one helluva pitcher.
That hit was plenty fair. Atleast by a quarter of an inch.
