    No Bruce tonight!

Kid is only 21 I guess he needs a day off. Guess who's in center and leading off for your Cincinnati Reds. You got it, Corey Patterson. Baker is killing me, I'll take Bruce in his worst slump over Patterson anyday. I guess since Pattersin hit a homer the other night Baker must think he's swinging a hot bat!

Bruce might need a day off -- I don't know. But the way the Reds are hitting, we need him in the line-up.

Even though Bruce is 21 he still needs a day off everyonce in awhile. Maybe not physically but mentally.

Our guys seem to need more rest than players on other teams.

I hope Patterson is booed loudly and constantly every time at the plate, and that the crowd shuns him even if he hits four home runs. He's a symptom of the area where this team is weaker than any other team in MLB-- field management.

Any lineup w/Corey Patterson might as well be this:

Good. I can make other plans tonight. No Bruce + no Volquez + no Keppinger + no Hairston = no reason to watch.

Here's my guess for CPatt's night:

1st PA: 2 pitches - Fly out to CF.
2nd PA: 2 pitches - Fly out to RF.
3rd PA: 1 pitch - Ground out to SS.
4th PA: 4 pitches - Strike out swinging.

    Yay for leadoff!!

I'll take the under on total pitches through four at-bats.

Yeah, no way Corey sees 9 pitches in 4 at-bats. I'd say 6 max.

Wonder why Dusty would shake things up after we ripped the cover off of the ball the last two nights?

The Hairston injury hurt worse than people want to admit.
"YES! He rips it. Is it high enough? It's gonna be gone! Adam Dunn has done it again. Big #44 can take all day to round the bases here, thats done and gone- lookout dunner they're waitin for ya at home plate." - George Grand

"Did that just happen?" - Chris Welsch

You're giving him way too much credit. You have to include swings and misses. There will be plenty of those.
