Friday June 13th minor league updates

    Louisville - 7:05 - Matt Maloney.

    Chattanooga - 8:05 - Travis Wood.

    Dayton - 7:30 - Kyle Lotzkar.

Sarasota is off on its All-Star break. The FSL All-Star game is tomorrow night at 7:15.

I'm pretty excited to see how Lotzkar does tonight. He's still only 18 years old so it will be interesting to see how he does against older competition.

Billings season opens on Tuesday and the GCL opens Thursday so we'll have more to report on next week. Yonder Alonso, Juan Duran, and Neftali Soto will give us a lot more to discuss in the minor league forums.

So does anyone think Stubbs gets moved up after tmmr also with maybe Fraizer, its time to start pushing Stubbs a bit to see what we got.

AAA needs to be cleared out a bit though first, cause Cumberland and Valaika look in need of promotion as well.

Louisville is up 3-2 thanks to a Kevin Barker 3 run HR.

Dayton ties the game up. Phipps walked, Mesoraco was HBP then Anthony Gressick singled up the middle.

Correction, they appealed to third base and Denis Phipps was called out. Make that still a 1-0 lead for South Bend

    Solid first inning for Lotzkar...

Did they say anything about the wild pitch and if Mes could of blocked it?

    Kyle Lotzkar's 2nd inning

    1. Strikes out the batter with a curveball.

    2. Curve for ball 1. Strike on something I missed. Strike 2 on a curve that the batter missed. Fastball in the gap to the fence for a double.

    3. Inside for ball 1. Balk called. Curveball for a swing and a miss. Fastball low. Foul ball. Single for an RBI.

    4. Strike. Outside for a ball. Strike. Fastball inside. Curve dribbled to Lotzkar who gets the runner at 2nd.

    5. Ball. Fastball fouled back. Curve for strike 2 called. Curveball fouled back. Ground out to second.
