Yeah I'm not a big fan of Maloney, I just don't see him amounting to anything on the Major League level, I say trade chip but with those type of numbers he is really hurting the return

    Rough night for Travis Wood:

    2.2 IP, 10 H, 7 R, 2 BB, 1 K.

    Cumberland: 1-for-2 double

I have felt the same way, many have been clamoring for hin to get a shot at the bigs but I haven't seen the same pitcher as last year.

Maloney needs a little more time. I believe he only had four starts at AAA last year. His ceiling probably isn't that high, but even so he needs more time to reach it. Three months at AAA isn't enough.

Sean Watson threw a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout in the Chattanooga game.

Chattanooga scored 3 runs in the 7th, but still trail 8-4

    Here's how it happened:
    Valaika singles
    Gutierrez reaches on error
Sean Henry singles, Valaika scores, Gutierrez to 2nd
    Cody Strait strikes out
Michael Dejesus singles, Gutierrez scores, Henry scores, Tatum to 2nd
    Cumberland walks
    Eymann strikes out
    Thomas Collaro flies out

Thumbs is closing in on a .300 BA at a level he wasn't supposed to be at until late this year. Very good to see.

Re: Friday June 13th minor league updates

West Tennessee just scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th, and got all those runs back. They now lead 12-4. I think we can safely call this a loss for the Lookouts.

The Lookouts manager was ejected in the bottom of the 7th by the home plate umpire, and the game is now being delayed.

The Lookouts finally lost the game 12-4, as the game was called early. There was a 41 minute delay, although I do not have the reason for the delay.

    Watson had a bad night: 1 2/3 IP, 2 hits, 4 runs, 4 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
