Harang retired Pierre and Dewitt on three pitches to start the game. Kent and Martin followed with back-to-back doubles to make it 1-0 Dodgers. Loney walked. Kemp fielders choice.

    1-0 Dodgers after 1/2 inning.

It looked like an easy inning for Harang after retiring the first two on three pitches.

I never thought I would be happy to see Norris Hopper in a lineup. Because of Corey, I am.

At least Hopper showed a good at bat. Something to be said for patience!

Bruce's K numbers have risen quickly.....but, that was the scouting report on him...he WILL strike out quite a bit.

If Gameday is correct then this guy has a huge strikezone today. That first strike call on Bruce was a foot outside according to gameday.

I can admit it, against a lefty, this might be the best lineup I've seen from Dusty all season. Other than the fact that Ross should be starting, I can't really argue with any of it.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Is there a free internet radio feed for the game?

    C. Trent thinks Fogg pitches Saturday.

I'll be sure to miss that game if that's the case - I'll be busy anyway with my parents, at least part of the day.
