    Soto should have started in Dayton. He probably will be there in a couple weeks anyways.

    Soto already has more homeruns this season then he had last season.

    Impressive start so far for Duran. Nice to see him willing to take a walk despite being only 16 and facing older competition.

    It turns out three of those four runs against Lotzkar shouldn't have happened:

    Trouble manifested itself in the first inning as starter Kyle Lotzkar appeared safely out of trouble following two strikeouts and a walk. Next came a miscommunication between shortstop Zack Cozart and left fielder Brandon Menchaca, allowing a shallow pop to drop safely between them. Naturally, the next Great Lakes batter Jaime Ortiz hit a homer for a 3-0 lead.
