    Bruce flied out on the first pitch. Cabrera bunt single but Griff flies out to RF and Cabrera went too far and got doubled off first.

    I would have started Janish today considering he's the best defensive SS on the team and Volquez is a groundball pitcher.

    I would have batted the struggling rookie down in the order and not at leadoff.

    Yea, I don't get the 1st pitch swing on a low breaking ball. No reason for anyone to get themselves out on a first pitch that's a pitcher's pitch. I'm worried.

    And there it is already. A routine groundball goes into center field because the Reds have an outfielder playing SS.

    Just think how much better this pitching could be with just a decent defense?
