Reds go down 1-2-3 in the top of the 1st.

Then Damon walked. Jeter grounded into a 1-6-3 DP and Abreu popped up.

21 pitches for Thompson in the 1st.

Thompson's MLB debut in the big house reminds me of a 1994 movie...

Votto with a bloop single with one out in the second. Votto is a good all around hitter and the Reds need more like him. Dunn up.

Reds are also facing a first time starter today and we all know how well that usually goes.

Guy making his first career start, top 4 in the Reds lineup makes him throw an entire 11 pitches.

Nice first inning for Thompson. In light of his nerves, pumped the fast ball to nice effect.

Dunn could hit one 500 feet of this guy.

Dunn saw 4 pitches that AB, the most of any Reds hitter so far.

Lets show a little patience guys. First MLB start from a 31 year old rookie with 2 pitches, a fastball in high 80's. Make him work.
