When Kepp comes up, who goes?

Reds have twelve pitchers. I guess Thompson effectively replaced Bailey on the roster. So they have a five man bench meaning it will be an infielder, probably Andy Phillips. Just like Big Klu says later in the thread.

Hope Janish stays. Reds need to keep him up here. He played very good defense today against the Yankees.

Sorry, just woke up :/ I would think Janish stays simply as a B/U SS...gotta be a pitcher then, right?

I would hope Patterson but chances are that won't happen.

Unless a roster spot opens up due to an injury, I think it will be Andy Phillips.

I think it will be Patterson. I do think Dusty wants him to get straight in AAA.

After looking over the roster, I think you're right.

The inevitable bounce back from horrible to just awful is taking place for Corey, he's probably safe.

What position does Andy Phillips play? I honestly don't know. I'm going to guess corner infield, in which case he'll likely be the guy to go. Patterson will probably go when Hairston is ready.

My money is on Janish. He hasn't impressed since being called up,

It's not going to be Janish. The Reds essentially have no real person to play backup SS if he goes down. I think it'll be Andy Phillips.

I'd like to see Janish stay. His defense has been pretty good IMO. That diving catch he made today on the line drive from A-Rod was just a thing of beauty. No other shortstop on the Reds roster makes that play.

Janish has to stay. With Norris back and the love fest with Patterson - I'd say 99% Phillips is our man!
