Keppinger off the DL and starting at SS

Keppinger returns to the team today and is making the start at shorstop batting second. Andy Phillips designated for assignment. Good to see Kepp back in the lineup. Dunn is also getting the day off today.

Dunn really REALLY needed this day off. Dusty gets credit for that one. He also gets credit for that trip to the mound yesterday to calm the kid down. And for moving Bruce out of the leadoff spot (never should have been there).

Good to see Keppinger back in. He was patient his first at bat taking the first two pitches then grounded out. Let's get the broom out today. :dunn:

    Welcome back Kepp!!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

If Junior and Votto were switched, this would be Dusty's best batting order to date in 2008.
