    The joke is on Bowden

    Lopez - 72 games, 250 ab's, 15 doubles, 2 HR's, 4 SB's, .248 avg
    Kearns - 42 games, 150 ab's, 3 doubles, 3 HR's, 16 rbi, .187 avg, .295 obp,
    .267 slg

Hey, maybe we can trade Corey Patterson to the Nationals. I'm sure Jimbo would be ecstatic to get his future long term center fielder. He would hold a press conference and proclaim how they got a steal!!!!

The joke might be on Jim Bowden but at least for the moment, he is still a GM.

I saw him a few years back at Showcase Cinemas at Kings Island, on a date. I kid you not, he was wearing his leatherpants. This was not that long ago. Maybe 4 or 5 years ago.

There are a lot of dumb owners out there...

How else could Bavasi get and keep a job for five years?

And a lot of owners would rather recycle the old and bad stuff instead of hiring the new and better stuff.

I'd take Krivsky over Bowden. Easily.

Every single day of the week and twice on Sunday. At least WK didn't have an odd fascination for 5 tool outfielders who never seem to deliver on their potential.

.....ah yes, the 5 tool, 23 year old outfielder, who can't seem to manage moving up beyond high A ball. Hmmmm. He'll be in triple A about age 30.
