Now, what's his ERA in close games vs blowouts.....games in which he has a lead to hold vs games out of reach.

Seems to me that when he needs to be counted on....he blows it...when it doesn't matter, he thrives.
Weather's WPA ranks LAST among REDS relievers, so he has not been good in high leveraged situations/

It's not going to happen, and if it did the Reds would be fast on the way to being the Clippers of MLB, not able to get a single ounce of respect from the rest of the league.

6th manager this decade and the Reds still have the same problems... that's some crazy bad managing year in and year out... maybe the team has a hand in all that futility?

you get the respect by winning. Nobody is laughing at the Rays at the moment.

Thanks for the lesson, here's one as well.

Instability is a corporate nightmare and the Reds are trying to get over a stretch of over 10 years of that as we speak.

That's why they should have kept Mack.

No, I meant Mark Berry. When the ball got away from Bautista at 3B, Berry was waving his arms in a right-to-left motion, indicating that Phillips should go from first to second.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

I sorted through this whole thread to find this moment in the game. I came up off the couch in disbelief that it was not called ball 4. I came to hate those umps last night. Hate them.

Apparently, there are several here at RedsZone that thought that way. Last year I was on a few other boards for the majority of the time and it seemed like EVERYONE was praising the greatness of Weathers. Nice to see some rational minds around for a change. :O)
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG
