Reds go down 1-2-3 in the 4th. 5-5 after 4.

Looks like Bruce will have to wait until the fifth inning to hit his third homerun of the game.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

As expected, Paul Bako's really come back to Earth. He's now at .223/.299/.375/.674 for an OPS+ of 75. The scary thing? His career OPS+ is 63, so he may not be done plummeting yet.

    Ughh
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Thompson's looking like a AAA pitcher tonight.

Geesh ... giving up 7 runs to the Pirates is like giving up 15 runs to anyone else

So much for better results. Nady homers. 7-5 Pirates.

Thompson doesn't have the normal velocity on his fastball tonight.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I guess this means we can look forward to the return of Josh Fogg.

What happened to that rising fastball from NY?
