    I believe no matter who Josh Hamilton's first ML team was, because of the extreme circumstances, he could never be fully accepted there. Unfortunately for us, his first team was the Reds.

    As I stated in another post, conjecture in and of itself is not bad. And is not unexpected in a forum. My concern was that people were saying Hamilton's faith must be making Reds players uncomfortable even though no statements have been reported to back that up. Phillips' comment was broadcast. Hamilton overheard concerns about his perceived "over-friendliness" to fans. Those are clues that can help us discern what made Reds players seem to be less accepting of Hamilton.

    So please don't think I'm against conjecture.
