Robert Andino would be somebody I'd target.

Andino for Ross or Weathers? Absolutely. He's a slick fielding SS with a strong arm and a some raw power in his bat. That would be a pretty good deal.

One thing I notice with all the Reds' catchers, and the Cowboy mentioned it--none of them put up a target for pitchers, which is in the Cowboy's words,"Laaaaazy."

Agreed. They all stink. Lots of teams have catchers who can't hit but they are usually members of the group of interchangeable, freely available, overly abundant defensive specialists. The Reds have catchers who can't hit and can't play defense.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

I thought Andino was a 2B? Maybe not, I just thought I remembered him being that. Anyhow anybody with any real talent for those 2 is a good idea. And I also agree with bringing up Hanigan for the remainder of the season.

Face it. Catching is not a deep position right now in MLB. We certainly can move 1 or even 2, but we'll be increadible thin. Just seems to me with all these young catchers we'd be smart to get a young catcher that can be here 4-5 years with these guys and grow. Even if we have to pay up a little. I'm just not sure there is much better out there available then who we have. I have to admit. I don't know our AAA or AA catchers so I can't really comment.
