    Minor League Action (SAT.) 07/05

    Let's get this party started

AAA - Louisville trails after 3 at home to Indianapolis 1-0.

    Adam Pettyjohn pitching: 3IP 4H 1R 1ER 1BB 1K

Rob Mackowiak has the only hit for the Bats.

AA - Chattanooga @ Mississippi has not started yet.

Avery on the hill for the Lookouts (4.81 - ERA)

High A - Sarasota will be visiting Tampa tonight. Nothing going on yet.

    Smit hurling for Sarasota (3.58-ERA)

Low A - Dayton is hosting West Michigan tonight. No score in the top of the 1st for WM.

Josh Ravin taking the mound for the Dragons.

    1IP 1H 0R 0ER 0BB 0K

Rookie League - DSL Reds hosted the DSL Twins in a doubleheader today. No info on how that turned out.

Rookie League - Billings will be hosting Helena @ 7:05 MT.

Arneson hurling for the Mustangs. (4.50 - ERA)

Rookie League - GCL Reds fall 5 -2 at home to the GCL Red Sox.

James started the game and pitched one scoreless inning striking out 2. He started the year in Chattanooga so he must be down here on rehab I would imagine. Canadian product - Michael Henry - pitched 3 hitless innings fanning 5 in the process. For the season his ERA is spotless in 8 innings of work. He has allowed just 3 hits and walked 5 while PEACEing out 7.
Matteo Pizziconi (from Italy) worked a scoreless frame. On the year Pizziconi has worked 5 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits and walking 3. He has K'd 6 batters. That all adds up to an ERA of 1.69.

GCL batsmen managed just three hits. One of them was a home run by Samuel Vazquez.

Is that 2 games in a row with a jack for Stubbs? Maybe that power is starting to seep through.

    Ravin putting together a solid outing in Dayton...only 1 k, but 7 innings of 4 hit 2 run baseball...He has 5bb tho...

If he could eve cut down on his walks, he could turn into a real legit prospect...

Janish with a double in the 8th but Dickerson struck out swinging with 2 outs to end the inning...

Coffey strikes out the side in the top of the 9th...

Onto the bottom of the 9th for the Bats...
