A comment on Homer Bailey.
This, to me, spells 'immaturity'. And that has been one of the knocks on Homer - his attitude. Bad things are going to happen in baseball. Not every ball will be caught, not every play will be made and not every double play will be turned. So it would appear Homer does have more to learn in AAA. He needs to learn how to react differently to adversity, because adversity will happen. Have you been watching the Reds' defense the past few years? Yes adversity will certainly happen, even at the big league level. When his defense doesn't turn that double play, or makes an error he seems to lose it. He generally has 1 bad inning per game.

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
