1. Grounder up the middle that Smith knocks down with his pitching hand, throws the runner out. Seems to be fine.
2. Ball. Bunt foul. Swing and a miss. Ball. Swing and a miss for a strikeout.
3. Ball 1. Grounder to Valaika in the hole and Gutierrez digs the throw out of the dirt to end the inning.

3. Foul ball. Grounder to Eric Eymann at third. 2 outs.
4. Ball inside and low. Line drive to first base to end the inning.

Nice start so far for Jordan Smith against a tough lineup. I still think his future is as a power armed reliever in the major leagues.
Sarasota down 5-2 in the 6th.

3. Bunt foul. Another bunt foul. Bunt and out at first.
4. Another bloop single.
5. Sac fly. Sean Henry made a good throw and the announcers were very impressed with it. 2-0.
6. Strike. Ball low. Grounder up the middle hits Jordan Smith on the foot. Someone got the ball and threw the runner out though to end the inning.
