    Mike Lincoln

Well, this guy use to make me nervous, but since giving up 4 runs in 2 innings on May 10 and 4 runs in one inning on May 14, ballooning his e.r.a. to 7.00, Lincoln has pitched 22 2/3 innings, 5 earned runs, walked 7, struckout 25, and has lowered his e.r.a. to 4.20.

I hope I didn't just jinx him, but gotta give him props.

He has had his rough patches but other than that he's been on the of the best guys in the pen. He has a good curveball to go with his fastball. His out pitch seems to be that curveball though.

Lincoln has been great lately and I hope he can keep it up. I think he's being used pretty well now that they've (sort of) figured out when to have him go two innings and when to limit him to just one.

The further he is away from his arm troubles, the better he has gotten. I'm happy for the guy.

Lincoln is fine as long as Dusty does not use him more than one inning.

    7th inning - Bray
    8th inning - Burton
    closer - Cordero

Lincoln should be used when those 3 are tired. He has pitched decent lately and has impressed me but does seem to wear down quickly in the second inning as others have mentioned. Baker needs to start using Bray on a regular basis as his 7th inning guy. Weathers needs to be gone and Herrera brought up as a lefty specialist and Roenicke when he is ready. That could be a pretty solid pen.

A very good reclamation project. I'm very happy to see his success and I believe the more he develops a routine, the more consistent he'll be.

Does he become possible trade bait now that we have seen he has this dynamite curveball to go with a low 90s fastball?

pitcher, I think teams aren't going to drastically over value him because of his curve. It's a general rule of thumb that when you trade for a guy you should consider trading for his worst production in order to lower expectations.

It doesn't really work that way.

Agree with everyone. He's cheated the grim reaper a couple of times, but overall has been very solid out of the 'pen.

For the most part, he throws strikes, and quality strikes. You wonder if he fits in the plans for the future, but you certainly can't argue with what he has done this year.

I agree 100%. I love Lincoln for 1 inning. He has not given up a run in his last 6 outings.
