    Sure, maybe. I think he has a place in the line up, just not as the 3 hitter, but what I said didn't have a lot to do with Jr. I was more ribbing you a little (in good fun, mind you) for complaining about Votto not being "fundamental" because he didn't advance the runner when he hit a screaming line drive.

    Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.

    Tip of the cap to Josh Fogg tonight.

    I know...and I deserved it. Joey hit the ball hard, but as Marty & Brantley both said, that wasn't the job that he needed to do there. A grounder to the right or a fly ball to right is what was needed. But I'll take hitting the ball hard any day of the week over a strikeout. Especially a strikeout looking. Those just drive me nuts. Hence...my fits about Dunn from time to time. :O)

    When Fogg (9.12 ERA as a starter) starts....

    * REDS have a 4-2 record.
    * Bullpen:
    >> 3.29 ERA. Not bad considering they throw an avg. of 4.5 innings per game when Fogg starts. Get to see the not so reliable guys on the mound.
    >> 30 Ks in 27.1 innings. 1.1 Ks per inning, 22% higher than their average.
    >> Two blown saves... but came back to win both games.
    * REDS average 6 runs scored per game. Their average is 4.3 per game.

    Fogg does pretty well against MIL. Belisle likewise against PIT.
