I'm glad Brantley is a lousy PBP guy....cause he was sure it was gone off the bat.

Awesome outing. Hopefully the offense can get some insurance runs and the bullpen can hold it and get Volquez his 12th win.

A couple problems with pulling him now.

Firstly, Only Bray is warming up (for Fielder), and I don't like the matchup of Hardy vs. the LH pitcher.

And even if Burton was warming, I don't like the idea of burning Burton for one batter if Hardy reaches. I ceertainly want Bray vs. Fielder.

I'm honestly shocked that Patterson's batting average is .191. I had no idea it was that high.

Corey for Edinson is a rare case of pinch hitting a weaker bat for the pitcher

He had Weathers warming up....I imagine since the pitcher spot was up in the 8th.

What would it take for Corey to get cut? Maybe he should start hanging out with Chris Henry.

Hairston ropes a double to left. Destroyed that one.

Hairston doubles down the left field line. 3 hits and has been on base all 4 times tonight.

    i like this hariston guy!
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

Thom Brennamen is absolutely awesome in the booth. I would love if he would do every game.

As long as Hairston is producing like this, he should be left out of Dusty's "rotation" of sitting certain players.
