    Jay Bruce has absolutely no concept of the strike zone and it's really frustrating. Hopefully that's something he grows out of/gets better at.

    He did when he first came up...now he's swinging at everything for some reason.

    I don't think it was a bad idea.....to send Jerry. Bruce had been hitting better, making contact. He has been laying off the low stuff and the turns around and strikes out on a very high pitch. Hopefully that is not another hole he has

    Tough pitch to run on....since it got to the catcher really...really fast.

    Yeah...McClung's been up as high as 97 so far, hard to run on a fastball like that without a really good jump on the pitcher

    Would be great way to claim the starting role in the AS game by pitching at least a 7 inning shutout...with about 10 strikeouts.
