Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Please say Hairston isn't hurt
Let's hope that's just a shot to the funny bone.
Dusty waving the white flag today? That's a real Sunday special, 2008 Reds style.

Dunn drilled with the first pitch. BP up. Kill the lefty Brandon.

BP rolls over one to 3B. End of 1.

I'm not so sure about that. Who's out that's normally in there? Junior, Bruce & Votto. Junior is a defensive liability and CC owns lefties. Bruce has been struggling lately...and CC owns lefties. Votto could use a day off...and CC owns lefties. :O) Yes, I know that Joey hits lefties very well, but I don't have a problem with Andy getting a spot start. If we're going to win versus CC...it's in a low scoring game. That means we need the D and the ability to play small ball. Votto, Junior & Bruce are all bunting liabilities too. All in all, I kinda like this lineup in this situation. Besides, once we get into their bullpen, look at our pinchhitters available. Nice.
Bailey still throwing that 92-93 mph straight fastball. He better locate it very well or it's gonna be a real long day.

So far so good. Mid to low 90's and pounding the lower half of the zone. Nice so far.
That was an ugly breaking ball..
