Anyone else get the feeling that Patterson facing CC is akin to a little leaguer facing CC?

What's the most PA a player has had who finished with a sub .200 batting average?

Corey's OBP is lower than Dunn's AVG and his SLG is less than Dunn's OBP.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Why is the hell would Dusty start Patterson against Sabathia?

    Ridiculous.

That has been one heck of an entertaining series. Back and forth and back again. It's amazing how exciting a game can be when neither team has a bullpen worth 2 cents.

Defense. Plain and simple. Low scoring game is the only real chance to win against CC.

This is turning into the kind of game where not having Jared Burton available to pitch may be a massive loss.
