    Schedule after all star game

The schedule the rest of the way looks really nice. I still think we can go on a run with that schedule.....

We can go on a run for a winning season, but no wildcard

Because the Brewers looked so impressive? I think this last series just showed it is still wide open even with the team we have. We lack fundamentals, but at least we don't lack an entire bullpen.

If the Reds can start beating the teams they're supposed to beat along with continuing to give the 'great' teams a good fight (and maybe even win a few of those series like they did in the first half), then this part of the season is going to be a LOT of fun for me, playoffs or not. I'm enjoying watching the young guys like Bruce and Votto learn and develop as players and I know I'm going to keep right on watching Cueto, Volquez, and the other young pitchers grow into what could be a VERY solid staff for us in the future. Heck, half of that is all ready happening this year just not on a consistant basis (aside from Volquez), LOL

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I'm not picky right now, all I want is 82 wins. I want to say we had at least 2 winning seasons this decade, possibly 3 if you count 2009. That way at least we save a little face.

Lets focus on getting to 500 first. But anything is possible.
