    The Suitcase!

Did anybody catch Edinson Volquez at the Home Run Derby last night? Did anyone find out or hear what was in the case he sat on home plate during the Derby last night for Hamilton? Just curious. I'm sure it was some kind of inside joke about pack your bags you've been traded!

I thought it was supposed to be a prop from "The Natural".

Fun pictures! You could tell he was having a blast last night at the HR Derby. I can't wait to hear about his adventures when he gets back to Cincy later this week. Hopefully the Cincy media gets some stories from him!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Someone in the ORG said it may have had the money for the derby winner in it.

I'd love to know though. Hopefully someone will ask Volkie about it sooner or later.

I just got back from the Red Carpet Parade, and Volquez was a no show. I waited till almost the very end and here comes the truck with his name and no Edinson. The driver said he didn’t show up.

It was cool to see former Reds Perez, Morgan, and Robinson.
