    He added just now, he thinks its overrated because it doesn't take into account what type of hitter someone is. For a guy in the #1/2 spots OBP is way more important than his slugging, while someone in the #3 spot, SLG is more important.

    Chattanooga trails 5-3 T3. Each team has committed 3 E's each and it's only the 3rd inning. Avery has given up 3 earned runs.

    There's a story up now on the DSL's website, a member of the Dodger DSL team's front office died this morning. For those who can read Spanish:

Ella fue una persona confiable y una parte vital de la familia de los Dodgers y a los varios jugadores quienes carreras del béisbol profesional comenzaron en Campo Las Palmas,” dijo el gerente general de los Dodgers Ned Colletti. “Nuestros rezos están con ella y su familia y con todos sus colegas y amigos. Campo Las Palmas no será igual sin ella.”

    La carrera de Martínez en Campo Las Palmas duró más de 20 años. Ella trabajó extensivamente con el Coordinador de Búsqueda de Talentos, Rafael Ávila. Martínez sostuvo una relación integral con la embajada y el consulado Americano a nombre de los Dodgers en la República Dominicana, y asistió a todos los jugadores Dominicanos con las visas, los seguros, y otra documentación. Martínez tomó orgullo en asegurarse de que las materias administrativas de los jugadores fueron procesados para que pudieran centrarse en su funcionamiento en el campo.

    2. Strike 1. Lined into the gap for an RBI double. 4-2 Dragons are trailing.

    3. Ball. Double off the wall. 5-2 Dragons are trailing.

    4. Foul ball. Low, ball. Strike on the corner. Outside with the curve. Fastball just misses. Ball 4.

    5. Foul ball. Low (bullpen has movement now). Foul ball. Called strike 3 on the curve.

    6. Swing and a miss. Ball low. Ball outside. Passed ball, runners advance. Strike 2. Strike 3 swinging.

    7. Swing and a miss. Ball. Strike. Foul. Ball. Ball outside. Foul. Ball 4. Bases loaded.

    8. Line drive out to Phipps who makes the catch to end the inning.
