But what is there to do in St Louis? The Arch, the Casinos and visit the giant hole in the ground beside Busch Stadium.

By this time next year, Grants Farm may well be gone, and say goodbye to the AB tours too I bet. The I-40/61/64 construction should have progressed to the point where trying to visit the Zoo, Forest Park or the Science Center will be a raging PITA even with the Metro

Yay. I am SO not looking forward to listening to the Cardinals brag aboutthe next all star game for the next 2 years.

I've been there once and i agree its nice, but I don't think it's leaps and bounds better than GABP. My point is that GABP isn't sooo bad that it shouldn't be in the running, especially since its a new park. GABP is nice I think its problem is that it lacks something defining and unique.

I think that is exactly right. Lots of white painted steel. Corny paddlewheeler. Ugly black batter eye. Nothing around the stadium to do. No distinguishing features. Small Jumbotron.

I was at Coors Field last year and it's much nicer even though it's older. Heck, my family even liked Tropicana Field better. At least they had stuff for my 3 year to do when she got bored. Jumbo baseball equipment playground, craft area where she made a baseball necklace, cartoon watching area with Raymond, the mascot, and the Devil Rays petting tank. GABP has one little playgym with like 500 kids on it.
