    Tough Matchup Tonight

The Reds are welcomed back from the ASB with the unenviable treat of having to face one of the best in the game, Johan Santana. Making things even worse is the fact that the Mets are playing really good baseball right now and the fact that the Reds tend to make average lefties look like Mr. Santana - facing the real thing could be a messy affair.

Still, it's great to have baseball back and I am looking forward to seeing Johnny Fever throw tonight.

Santana has been good this year, but not great, IMO.

I'm just glad baseball is back...hopefully that 3 days at the beach will help get em to .500...
it's gonna happen...it may take 20 years but when it does we'll look back and remember all of the games we got beat and stuck it out and we won't be bandwagon fans. haha...at least for some of us it hasnt been 100 years...

Santana is heating up. He's pitching much better than he was when we saw him the first time around. His ERA over the past month and a half is in the low 2's.

Holy ##$@! Are we going to beat Santana tonight?

The offense looks very good. Maybe Dusty's got them awake for the 2nd half!

Knocked Santana out early. Valentin's 3 run 2B gets it done late.

Someone please explain to me how the Mets got so many fans to actually follow them to GABP tonight. That is HIGHLY annoying to hear those people cheering in our stadium. :thumbdown

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Thanks to Mr. 48 Mil over 4, we will not pull off an improbable win. I hope this game officially shows Cast & Co. that we are nothing but sellers. Speaking of selling, please sell Cordero.
